The Floating Man Project is a conceptual and immersive art experience that explores the tension between presence and absence, stability and suspension, identity and displacement. Inspired by classical philosophical thought experiments and contemporary socio-political realities, the project examines what it means to exist in a state of flux, where external structures dissolve, and self-awareness is redefined.

The project incorporates a fusion of sculptural, digital, and ephemeral elements to create a visually striking and interactive experience. It employs levitation techniques, transient materials, and technological interventions to evoke a sensation of weightlessness and instability, prompting viewers to reconsider the boundaries of selfhood and existence. By investigating how individuals navigate instability—whether physical, cultural, or ideological—the project challenges traditional notions of permanence and belonging. Floating becomes both a liberation from fixed structures and a confrontation with the uncertainties of displacement.

Through the dissolution of fixed structures, The Floating Man Project engages with the fluidity of identity, the impermanence of existence, and the redefinition of masculinity in contemporary society. The project questions how traditional male identity is affected by displacement, detachment, and the dissolution of societal structures, exploring masculinity in transition and how contemporary perspectives challenge rigid definitions of manhood. The exploration of manhood, cultural detachment, and reinvention is central to the work, reflecting the evolving landscape of gender identity and how it is shaped by movement, migration, and change.
